The "Youth Customized Data Management Platform" introduced by ISDA (International Sports Data Alliance) has been unveiled.
ISDA held a public briefing session on the "Youth Customized Data Management Platform" at the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul on the 12th, attended by soccer officials from 24 Asian countries, including former Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Secretary General Dato Alexander Susai.
Kim Kyung-soo, chairman of the Korea Secondary Football Federation, and Kim Doo-kwan, a member of the National Assembly (Democratic Party), also attended the event and cheered through a congratulatory speech.
Lee Yong-soo, chairman of the Korea Football Science Association, who is in charge of ISDA's technical advisor, said in his opening speech, "If youth soccer players who are unable to access expensive equipment and technology can realize and make up for their shortcomings through ISDA's platform. I hope that players from all Asian countries can benefit from it," he said.
CEO Chung Eui-seok, who founded ISDA, said, "The IT technology of the fourth industry will measure youth soccer players' training and performance in games. ISDA's platform will not only make the soccer ecosystem healthy, but also strengthen the competitiveness of youth teams and contribute to revitalizing the soccer industry."
ISDA's "Youth Customized Data Management Platform" allows youth players to experience expensive game analysis equipment and technology used by professional players. Professional athletes frequently check their data such as running distance, speed, heart rate, and training volume through state-of-the-art analysis systems and conduct optimal training.
Until now, companies that have expressed their intention to join the platform are DDE in Hong Kong, Chinese champions, Fit Together in Korea, and QMIT. An ISDA official said, "We will contribute to expanding the sports industry by combining not only soccer science technology but also IT technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), VR (Virtual Reality), AR (augmented Reality), and blockchain."

ISDA는 12일 서울 장충동 신라호텔에서 다토 알렉산더 수사이 전 아시아축구연맹(AFC) 사무총장을 비롯한 아시아 24개국의 축구 관계자와 국내 유소년 축구 종사자 300여명이 참석한 가운데 ‘유소년 맞춤형 데이터관리 플랫폼’ 공개 설명회를 열었다.
이날 행사에는 김경수 한국중등축구연맹 회장, 김두관 국회의원(더불어민주당)도 참석해 축사를 통해 힘을 보냈다.
ISDA의 기술고문을 맡은 이용수 한국축구과학회 회장은 개회사에서 “고가의 장비 와 기술을 접하기 어려운 유소년 축구 선수들이 ISDA의 플랫폼을 통해 부족한 점을 깨닫고 보완해 나갈 수 있다면 이보다 더 큰 보람은 없을 것이다. 아시아 모든 국가의 선수들이 혜택을 받을 수 있으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
ISDA를 설립한 정의석 대표는 사업 설명을 통해 “4차 산업의 IT 기술로 유소년 축구선수들의 훈련 및 경기에서의 성과를 측정해 과학적이고 체계적인 유소년 육성을 가능케 할 것”이라면서 “ISDA의 플랫폼이 축구 생태계를 건강하게 만들 뿐만 아니라 유소년 팀의 경쟁력을 강화하고 축구 산업 활성화에 기여할 것"이라고 강조했다.
ISDA의 ‘유소년 맞춤형 데이터관리 플랫폼’은 프로 선수들이 활용하고 있는 고가의 경기분석 장비와 기술을 유소년 선수들도 경험할 수 있도록 만든 것이다. 프로 선수들은 뛴 거리, 속도, 심박수, 훈련량 등 각종 데이터를 최첨단 분석 시스템을 통해 자신의 데이터를 수시로 확인하며 최적의 훈련을 하고 있다.
현재까지 플랫폼 합류 의사를 밝힌 기업은 홍콩의 DDE, 중국의 챔피언, 한국의 핏투게더, QMIT 등이다. ISDA 관계자는 "기존 기업 뿐만 아니라 향후 합류할 다양한 기업들을 통해 축구과학 기술 뿐만 아니라 AI(인공지능), VR(가상현실), AR(증강현실), 블록체인 등 4차 산업혁명을 이끌어갈 IT기 술을 융합해 스포츠산업을 확장하는데 기여하겠다"고 밝혔다.
