First-ever Luxembourg AI Excellence Awards sees Fischer, Cebi International, Luxscan Technologies, Data Design Engineering and Neon Internet singled out for praise

Five businesses have been awarded for their use of artificial intelligence at the first-ever Luxembourg AI Excellence Awards ceremony, held at the Nexus Luxembourg 2025 conference on Tuesday evening.
Among the five winners selected from 55 entries was the Fischer bakery, which has developed its own AI-based order recommendation system. Together with Luxembourg-based consultancy Resultance, the bakery created an AI system that predicts daily demand and recommends optimal order quantities for each product and each point of sale.
Data Design Engineering was given the AI Innovation Excellence award for its project - entitled Intelligance on Edge Device Offline AI Technology - which embeds AI models within robots and unmanned equipment for autonomous operations even offline.
Vivier was impressed by the range of size and field of activity of the companies that submitted entries for the awards. โThis confirms that artificial intelligence affects all economic players,โ he said.
โThese innovative projects illustrate the ability of our companies to integrate artificial intelligence into their research, development and innovation processes. It is a key driver of competitiveness, helping to strengthen the Luxembourg economy,โ said Elisabeth Margue, Minister Delegate for Media and Connectivity.
The awards were launched by industry association Fedil together with LuxInnovation and the Chamber of Commerce, which have already announced that the competition will take place again in 2026.
